Duties and Responsibilities: SEO & AEO Content Strategy
Define and own SEO/AEO content strategy aligned to business priorities and customer intent
Lead keyword, query, and topic research across traditional search and AI‑driven answer platforms
Develop content frameworks that support featured snippets, People Also Ask, and AI‑generated answers
Map content to customer journeys and funnel stages (awareness → consideration → conversion)
Content Development & Optimization
Partner with the Technical SEO & AEO Manager to ensure content is structured for crawlability, schema eligibility, and AI answer readiness
Create and optimize landing pages, FAQs, guides, and evergreen content for search and answer engines
Establish guidelines for headings, page structure, internal linking, and on‑page optimization
Audit existing content and recommend updates, consolidations, or removals based on performance
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work closely with UX, Design, and Engineering to influence page templates and component usage
Collaborate with Compliance and Legal partners to balance content clarity with regulatory needs
Support editorial governance and ensure SEO/AEO best practices are embedded in content workflows
Measurement & Insights
Track content performance using GA4, Search Console, and SEO platforms
Evaluate success across rankings, engagement, conversions, and answer visibility
Partner with Analytics to surface insights and inform content roadmap decisions
Skills and Competencies:
Strong understanding of search intent, keyword research, and content mapping
Experience collaborating with technical SEO partners or web engineering teams
Ability to write and optimize content for both users and search/answer engines
Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams
Minimum Qualifications:
4–7+ years of hands‑on technical SEO experience for large or complex websites
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience optimizing for featured snippets, zero‑click search, or AI‑generated answers
Background in eCommerce, lead generation, or regulated industries
Experience working within a headless CMS or component‑based design system
Comfort translating data into actionable content recommendations
Location:
Our office follows 4 days onsite and 1-day remote schedule.
Travel:
Occasionally, less than 25%
