As the business continues to evolve and scale its creative capabilities, they are seeking a Senior Copywriter to help shape and elevate the brand voice across all customer touchpoints. This is a high-impact creative role responsible for defining and executing written content across all media platforms, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand voice. The Senior Copywriter will play a key role in shaping how the brand communicates across catalog, digital, social, video, SEO, and product storytelling. This role blends hands‑on copy development with strategic content leadership, offering the opportunity to influence brand standards, mentor emerging talent, and drive continuous improvement in messaging effectiveness. It is an opportunity for a seasoned storyteller to make a measurable impact on both brand perception and customer engagement within a fast‑paced, multi‑channel retail environment.
Position Responsibilities
Lead the creation and execution of copy across all channels including catalog, print, digital campaigns, social media, email, video scripts, SEO content, and product descriptions
Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice across all customer touchpoints while ensuring alignment with marketing and brand strategy
Write, edit, and refine high-impact messaging including headlines, product copy, calls to action, and storytelling content that drives engagement and conversion
Build strategic creative briefs that guide content development across campaigns and initiatives
Oversee editing, proofreading, and fact-checking to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to AP and brand style guidelines
Manage and collaborate with internal partners and external creative resources to execute high-quality copy deliverables
Direct and shape messaging for video content across both social and high-production environments
Mentor and provide feedback to junior copywriting talent, supporting their growth and development
Continuously refine copy standards, tone of voice, and style guides to improve clarity and effectiveness
Apply a test‑and‑learn approach to optimize messaging performance across channels
Identify opportunities to improve copy processes, workflows, and creative effectiveness
Translate product features and benefits into compelling, customer-focused messaging
Adapt quickly to shifting priorities, deadlines, and creative direction in a fast‑paced environment
Ensure all copy is delivered on time, on brand, and aligned with business objectives
Position Qualifications
10+ years of progressive copywriting or editorial experience in an agency or in‑house creative environment
Proven ability to lead copy development across multi-channel marketing, including catalog and digital platforms
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in brand storytelling, product copy, and performance‑driven messaging
Expert‑level knowledge of grammar, AP style, and editorial standards
Experience collaborating with designers, marketers, and cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high‑priority projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and deadlines
Experience mentoring or guiding junior creative talent
Strong conceptual thinking paired with exceptional executional writing skills
Preferred
Experience in apparel, fashion, or consumer retail environments
Strong understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and performance content strategy
Experience working within structured brand guidelines and evolving style systems
Familiarity with creative workflows and tools used in content production environments
Highly organized with strong operational discipline and attention to detail
Comfortable balancing creative innovation with data‑informed decision‑making
