Responsibilities
Lead on-site operation and maintenance support efforts for all school mobile, desktop, and supporting network technology, including the development of master images & operating processes for those resources that require the support.
Monitor and respond quickly to requests submitted to the help-desk.
Assist the network team leadership in assessing district technology needs and ongoing movement with best practice tools for educational technology.
Work collaboratively with the school's Instructional Innovation Specialists, Coaches, and LRC directors as requested.
Provide Network support
Install new software and configure user accounts per guidelines.
Add / Move printers as necessary to provide user services.
Add / Move access points as necessary to provide user services.
Add / Move other technology as necessary to provide user services.
Develop expert competencies in all district-level software. Provide timely recommendations on system upgrades. Develop procedures for integrating technology tools throughout district practice.
Support periodic training sessions for staff.
Perform system backups in coordination with the Network and Information Security Manager if needed.
Remove, replace, and relocate equipment according to the District purchasing plan or as directed.
Follow and educate staff in district data security policies.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Preferred proficiency in the installation and configuration of MAC and iOs systems.
Preferred proficiency in the installation, configuration, and support of device applications.
Preferred - BS/BA in computer science, an Associates Degree in a Technology or related field, or experience maintaining and configuring computer systems.
Knowledge of Google Workspace is a plus.
Terms Of Employment Full-time (1.0 FTE), 8 hours per day. The salary is based on market and district comparisons as determined by the Superintendent or his/her designee.
Pay Rate $18.55 - $23.85 per hour ($38,584 - $49,608 annually) dependent on experience.
