We are looking for an organized and proactive Sales Coordinator to support our sales team in driving revenue and delivering exceptional client service. This role includes coordinating meetings and events, preparing proposals and contracts, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
You will assist the sales and catering managers and directors with clerical tasks and guest service so that they can focus on closing business.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the sales and catering managers and directors with clerical tasks and guest service so that they can focus on closing business.
Perform daily tasks such as responding to guests’ requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner; word processing, typing, e‑mailing, data entry, filing, faxing, copying, processing mail; other general office duties and assist with special projects, as needed.
Report to the Director of Sales.
Learn about all aspects of sales, catering, and customer service and the operation of the entire hotel; this position can set you up for a progressive career in the sales discipline and offers the option to finish the shift early.
Education & Experience
A high school diploma, a GED, or one year of hotel experience.
Experience is not required.
Additional consideration will be given to applicants who have completed special certifications.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Eligible to work in the United States.
Able to work M‑F 8:30A‑4:30P with a 30‑Minute Unpaid Lunch.
Have sufficient education and/or literacy to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job‑related needs.
Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required—with or without reasonable accommodations.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.
Exhibit a warm, professional demeanor that reflects HVMG’s Culture of Excellence.
This position may require a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Please share your scheduling needs.
