Role Overview As Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales strategy and achieving company goals within designated business segments. This entails comprehensive planning, reporting, quota management, process optimization, training, and program implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales plans tailored to specific business segments.
Implement and enforce pricing regulations across marketplaces and online channels to safeguard brand equity.
Drive sales revenue and market share growth in both direct and distribution channels.
Cultivate customer feedback loops to identify, qualify, and target potential product development opportunities.
Present innovative sales and marketing strategies to attract new customer segments.
Additional Responsibilities
Implement sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes to boost revenue and attain sales targets.
Safeguard brand integrity by identifying and rectifying pricing violations on marketplaces and online channels.
Champion continuous process improvement within the sales organization.
Provide leadership with insightful sales and analytical reports.
Collaborate with marketing resources for data analysis and market research, identifying new customer opportunities.
Partner with sales management to develop and oversee annual business plans.
Stay abreast of industry technologies and competitive products to maximize sales productivity.
Cultivate and nurture key relationships through in-person meetings with customers and partners.
Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of combined experience in outside sales, sales management, or related roles within the outdoor industry.
Demonstrated success in selling consumer products to dealers, distributors, and distribution channels.
Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
Proven track record in territory building and management.
Experience in small, and medium company environments.
History of providing status reports with market and customer feedback to executive teams.
Proficiency in CRM software.
Skills

Accurate sales volume forecasting.
Expertise in optimizing product development and market growth opportunities.

Environmental Job Requirements And Working Conditions
Full-time position based in Leander, Texas.
Extensive travel is required.
On-site work; no remote options available.
No relocation package provided, including moving expenses.
