Semiconductor Sales Manager
Salary Range:
$160,000 - $230,000 / Year DOE
This role presents an opportunity to lead sales initiatives within a key account in the semiconductor industry. The Semiconductor Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive growth and foster relationships with high-expectation clients. This position requires a deep understanding of the semiconductor market, particularly in microcontrollers and system-on-chips. The successful candidate will navigate complex client needs while maintaining a focus on achieving substantial revenue targets. Strong interpersonal skills and a strategic mindset are essential for success in this demanding environment.
Responsibilities
Lead and own the sales strategy and execution for the microcontroller business
Build, manage, and expand relationships across engineering, procurement, and executive teams
Drive sample-to-design-win conversion through technical engagement
Maintain a high-quality opportunity pipeline in the CRM system
Provide insights into design cycles and product qualification timelines
Monitor competitive threats and position the company's value proposition
Act as the key voice of the customer internally
Prepare and deliver executive-level briefings and materials
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor sales, ideally 10–15 years
Proven track record of working directly with high-expectation customers
Demonstrated ability to drive design wins and revenue growth from zero to over $50M
Deep understanding of the business model and internal dynamics of high-profile clients
Technical proficiency to engage with engineering teams on MCU use cases
Expertise in using CRM tools for tracking and reporting
Comfortable operating in a resource-constrained, entrepreneurial environment
Experience working with Apple on micro-controllers specifically is preferred
Highly strategic yet hands-on; able to operate independently while coordinating efforts is preferred
Persuasive communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills is preferred
Insightful and proactive; anticipates challenges is preferred
High integrity, detail-oriented, and driven by measurable results is preferred
