Responsibilities
Collaborate with business, technical, and clinical leaders to plan, develop, implement, and analyze highly complex clinical informatics systems, and design integrated architecture to ensure an optimal and efficient user experience, functionality, integrity, and reliability of systems.
Serve as a technical leader and liaison in collaborating with business operations, pharmacy staff, other healthcare clinicians, and IT applications and technical teams to translate operations workflow and patient‑experience objectives into technical requirements.
Lead project teams that include advanced business and clinical staff to improve clinical informatics results and provide advice and sophisticated metrics and analytics to support management’s decision‑making processes for systems modifications that are cost‑effective, scalable, and meet present and future needs.
Perform highly complex quality assurance testing, design and run analytical queries for enhanced and complex medical data access, and plan, develop, and document design, deployment processes, workflows, and results.
Provide advanced support, troubleshooting, and problem solving, and produce and deliver user training curricula.
Develop necessary reports and data files to support the pharmacy department and to support the integration of pharmacy systems with internal and/or external applications and systems.
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy and possess a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or equivalent accredited degree.
Complete an ASHP Accredited Postgraduate Year 1 (PGY1) Pharmacy Residency Program or equivalent practice experience.
Licenses & Certifications
Possess a current license in good standing to practice pharmacy in the State of California.
Hold current certification for Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
Maintain Clarity certification or obtain it within 120 days of hire.
