Location:
Multiple Sites in Atlanta, GA USA (contractors’ nearby areas) Contract Type: Freelance – 1099 or B2B with Sharp Brains Limited (UK)
Contract Duration:
6 Months (Extendable)
Working Hours:
On-call/On-request, Mon–Sun (08:00 AM – 05:00 PM Local Time)
Rate:
USD 35 per ticket (All-Inclusive, excludes VAT/GST/local taxes)
Overtime:
Subject to prior approval
Additional Allowance:
USD 5–10 fuel cost (if part collection from FedEx is required)
Key Responsibilities
Perform on-site diagnostics and repairs for HP/Lenovo laptops, desktops, and tablets, including motherboard replacement and branding, cracked screen, battery, audio, and webcam replacements.
Support HP Retail Point of Sale (POS) systems, including printers, scanners, monitors, and cash drawers.
Provide break-fix services for HP printers (DeskJet, OfficeJet, LaserJet Pro, Envy, A4 & A3 series).
Troubleshoot issues such as paper jams, toner problems, imaging errors, and part replacements.
Complete service tickets within 60 minutes of on-site arrival.
Collect or deliver replacement parts via FedEx when required.
Maintain accurate documentation of service calls, parts used, and resolutions.
Communicate with dispatch, end users, and remote support teams.
Follow HP/Lenovo service standards and compliance/safety procedures.
Requirements
Proven experience in break-fix support for HP/Lenovo hardware.
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware categories.
Ability to travel to customer sites.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Flexible with working hours and urgent dispatches.
