Role Overview
The IT Manager / Head of Technology Services is a hands-on technology leader responsible for owning the organization’s day-to-day IT operations while setting a practical technology roadmap. Reporting to the CFO, this role blends technical execution, team leadership, and vendor management to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable systems. This position will help build and mature the IT environment and team. Key Responsibilities
Own and operate all technology systems, including infrastructure, networks, applications, telecommunications, outdoor video screens, and end-user environments Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues and incidents Develop and execute a
practical, multi-year technology roadmap
aligned to business priorities and budget Lead system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and cloud services Establish and enforce
cybersecurity policies , incident response, and
PCI DSS compliance Recruit, mentor, and manage a
small, hands-on IT team Manage technology budgets, vendors, contracts, and service providers Partner with the CFO and department leaders to deliver effective, right-sized technology solutions Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience 10+ years of progressive IT experience , including significant hands-on responsibility Proven experience owning IT environments across infrastructure, systems, security, and end-user support Experience leading small teams and managing vendors and budgets Preferred Qualifications
Experience in nonprofit, performing arts, or lean organizations Knowledge of cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance Experience with cloud platforms and business systems (ERP, CRM, ticketing, fundraising) Familiarity with
