The Fifth Avenue Hotel, an award-winning luxury destination, is seeking a Sales Manager – Corporate Groups to join our team. Position Overview As the Sales Manager – Corporate Groups, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to drive group room sales and maximize revenue throughout the property. This role requires a visionary leader with exceptional attention to detail, refined interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for maintaining the flneur spirit through bespoke client relationships and impeccable corporate experiences.
Responsibilities Operational Excellence
Direct and oversee all aspects of corporate group sales and account management to ensure a luxury, five-star (and beyond) standard of hospitality.
Promote and leverage the impeccable condition of all 149 guest rooms, event spaces, and public spaces, ensuring every client interaction is intentional.
The Flneur Environment
Curate corporate event proposals and client site inspections that reflect the hotel’s unique identity, ensuring art and design elements are showcased in their best light.
Ensure group blocks and meeting requirements are thoughtfully arranged and impeccably coordinated to spark curiosity and delight.
Personalized Service Support
Collaborate with the Guest Experience team to facilitate bespoke services for corporate groups, including specialized room preparations and VIP executive amenities.
Identify and anticipate the needs of VIP corporate clients and returning groups, coordinating personalized "surprise and delight" moments through tailored setups.
Leadership & Collaboration
Partner with Front Office, Engineering, and Food & Beverage to ensure seamless event execution, accurate billing, and rapid room turnaround for arriving groups.
Lead, mentor, and train a diverse sales administration team, fostering a culture of professional warmth and excellence.
Financial & Administrative Stewardship
Manage group sales goals, revenue pipelines, and contractual commitments while maintaining uncompromised luxury standards.
Track and communicate corporate client feedback regarding their booking experience and stay to drive continuous improvement.
Safety & Security
Uphold rigorous safety, data security, and confidentiality protocols for corporate guests and client accounts within all sales operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience preferred.
Significant leadership experience in luxury hospitality sales, specifically focused on corporate groups, is required.
Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
Proven ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
A keen eye for design, art, and the intentional details that define luxury for corporate clients.
Work Environment
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed to host clients and support 24/7 hotel operations.
Physically active role requiring standing, walking, and the ability to conduct extensive site inspections of all areas of the property.
