Job Summary
At Vantage Bank, the Business Analyst acts as a strategic liaison between business objectives and technology solutions in the banking and financial services sector, focusing on advancing digital asset and enterprise payment initiatives with an emphasis on tokenized payments, stablecoins and tokenized deposits. Essential Duties
Engage with business units to elicit, analyze, and document requirements for digital asset and payment solutions, emphasizing enterprise payments, blockchain payments, and emerging banking products. Review and clarify business requirements and feature requests, translating payment and digital asset needs into actionable user stories and functional specifications for development teams. Prioritize and manage product backlogs, facilitate feature planning and sprint readiness in coordination with stakeholders, lines of business, and technical teams, ensuring a strong payments and digital asset focus. Maintain a high-level understanding of technical product capabilities relevant to payments, blockchain, and digital assets, enabling effective translation of business needs into technical requirements. Leverage analytics and AI toolsets as needed to support requirements gathering and documentation. Refine requirements through iterative feedback, ensuring clarity and feasibility for technical teams while maintaining alignment with the payment product roadmap and organizational goals. Lead and facilitate agile ceremonies, such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives, applying agile best practices to optimize team performance and delivery outcomes for payment and digital asset solutions. Support user acceptance testing, training, and change management to facilitate seamless adoption of new payment and digital asset solutions. Monitor project progress, track key metrics, and communicate updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability for payment initiatives. Remain current with industry trends, banking regulations, and digital asset innovations—including developments in enterprise and blockchain payments—to inform product strategy and compliance. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in business analysis, product management, or financial services roles within banking or fintech environments, with a strong emphasis on payments and digital assets. Demonstrated expertise in agile product development, requirements management, and stakeholder collaboration, particularly for payment and digital asset solutions. Familiarity with enterprise payment systems, blockchain payment technologies, tokenized deposits, and digital asset products relevant to banking and financial services. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical perspectives. Experience with agile project delivery tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps) and productivity solutions; knowledge of analytics and AI is advantageous but not essential. Self‑motivated, high level of accountability, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to constant change while meeting deadlines. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while performing assigned duties. High standard of ethical conduct and commitment to confidentiality. Preferred Skills
Background in enterprise payments, blockchain payment technologies, tokenized deposits, stablecoins, and regulated financial environments. Professional certifications such as CBAP, Scrum Master, PMP, Certified Product Owner, or related disciplines. Proven experience as a Product Owner overseeing cross‑functional teams and driving product strategy within financial services or fintech environments. Ability to manage competing priorities, drive consensus, and facilitate cross‑functional collaboration in a regulated banking environment.
