Leading the development of innovative pricing models, the full-time Lead Actuarial Data Scientist will enhance pricing sophistication for personal auto and homeowners insurance products while working remotely. Key responsibilities:
Design and implement new rating plans for personal auto and home insurance products Build and refine pricing models using GLMs and machine learning techniques to improve risk segmentation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement pricing strategies and mentor junior team members
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; FCAS or ACAS designation preferred 8+ years of experience in actuarial, data science, or related technical roles 5+ years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry Advanced proficiency in predictive modeling techniques and strong programming skills in Python Experience with AI-assisted coding and leading complex technical analyses independently
