Essential Job Functions
Collaborate with internal partners to identify high-impact opportunities for predictive and prescriptive analytics
Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models to support decision[1]making and optimize business processes
Design and conduct experiments (e.g. A/B testing) to validate hypotheses and measure outcomes
Present complex findings in a clear, actionable way through visualizations, dashboards, interactive applications, or technical reports
Create and maintain production-ready pipelines for data science models
Partner with the Business Intelligence and Data Engineering teams to improve data quality, define key metrics, and develop reusable data assets
Mentor analysts and other self-service data consumers in advanced statistical and machine learning techniques
Detect anomalies, forecast key business trends, and provide proactive recommendations
Other Skills & Abilities
Strong programming skills in Python or R; familiarity with Julia or similar languages is a plus
Prior experience making or publishing analytical web apps (e.g. Shiny, Streamlit)
Proficiency with machine learning libraries and frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
Advanced knowledge of statistics, experimental design, and predictive modeling
Skilled in SQL and comfortable working with large datasets
Familiarity with deploying and maintaining models in production
Comfortable with BI tools and integrating data science outputs into business processes
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, applied math, data science, or a related field
3-7 years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or a related role
Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end machine learning, optimization, or forecasting solutions
Physical Requirements
Talking, hearing and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components
Sitting for extended periods of time
Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
