Our engineer‑led software teams develop technical solutions on an aggressive schedule across the DoW and IC to meet customer needs. Our engineers apply proven, repeatable software, technical, and analytical approaches to build solutions and have frequent interaction with end users to produce and deploy solutions.
We bring experience in building, integrating and deploying AI/ML solutions using Google TensorFlow, Python scikit‑learn, and other tools. Black Cape’s approach to solution development combines lessons learned from developing and deploying applications to customer cloud environments with industry best practices in Agile development and DevOps.
Role Overview We work with Department of War (DoW) and Intelligence Community (IC) customers to accomplish their missions.
As a Knowledge Graph Specialist, you will design and implement graph‑based solutions to enable efficient analysis and visualization of complex relationships within the intelligence domain.
Intelligence analysts with technical know‑how represent the next generation of object‑based intelligence globally. You will help make sense of an ever‑changing world and build tools that empower analysts worldwide.
Required background: experience in the intelligence community, particularly defense intelligence, with a focus on operational readiness and disposition. You must be able to work with technical teams, communicate ideas regarding system usage to analysts, senior stakeholders, and other parties, and help build training materials in conjunction with the technical team.
Required Technical Skills
Must have a Bachelor’s degree and 1.5+ years of professional experience
Strong grasp of graph theory, data modeling, and a passion for structuring complex, multi‑dimensional relationships
Expertise with graph database solutions, such as Anzograph, Neo4j, or Amazon Neptune
Familiarity with database query languages including Cypher, SQL, and SPARQL
Familiarity with scripting languages including Python and shell scripting
Familiarity with Linux systems including RedHat‑based distributions
Experience working with software development teams in any capacity
Experience working in and willingness to work in classified government environments
Experience developing on MacOS, Windows, and Linux
Preferred Technical Skills
Experience with AWS Console including, but not limited to, light management of EC2 instances
Background working with Object‑Based Intelligence
Background communicating to senior stakeholders in a classified environment
CompTIA Security+ certification
