We are looking for a Business Analyst to provide operational and technical support to legal specialists managing incoming law enforcement requests for data. This role will ensure that requests flow smoothly through our internal systems, help troubleshoot issues, and act as the first line of support in distinguishing between system‑related problems and procedural/process issues. This is a fixed‑term contract role with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities
Support US legal specialists by maintaining and monitoring request workflows in case management systems.
Troubleshoot system issues and elevate as needed, while identifying when issues are procedural versus technical.
Document common issues and contribute to process and system improvements by partnering with product managers on future requirements.
Assist in preparing summaries, reports, and metrics related to request volumes and response times.
Support process improvements by identifying workflow gaps and recommending solutions.
Ensure sensitive information is handled securely and in compliance with our company’s privacy policies.
Qualifications
3–5 years in operations, system support, or legal/administrative support.
Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to differentiate system errors from process gaps.
Proficiency with workflow/case management tools.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Experience working with sensitive or confidential information is a plus.
Familiarity with legal processes, privacy, or compliance regulations preferred but not required.
Collaboration:
Works effectively with legal professionals, compliance teams, and cross‑functional partners.
Analytical Thinking:
Reviews requests carefully to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

Demonstrates discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive data.

This role is subject to our Return to Office (RTO) policy. If you reside within a commutable distance of one of our office locations, you will be expected to work from the office a set number of days per week. The specific details, including the number of required office days, will be in accordance with the company’s then‑current RTO policy, which is subject to change from time to time.
Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job‑related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
Salary Range: $95,000—$105,000 USD
