Nursing Assistant We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Nursing Assistant will provide direct patient care and support to nursing staff, ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of patients. This role is essential in delivering high-quality care and maintaining a positive patient experience. Key Responsibilities
Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility. Take and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration). Provide basic patient care under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) or licensed practical nurses (LPNs). Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff. Support patients with mobility, positioning, and transfers using appropriate techniques and equipment. Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring dietary needs are met. Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms, equipment, and common areas. Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times by following established protocols. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients. Document care provided and maintain accurate patient records.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required. Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program. Active CNA certification (state-specific requirement). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, patient, and attentive to detail.
