Company : Highmark Inc. Job Description : JOB SUMMARY This role understands end-to-end data processes and flows and uses that knowledge to design and implement data management solutions. It provides business process, system support and data quality governance through data coordination and integration to ensure efficient processes and consistent data flows to business stakeholders. It ensures data integrity and compliance by performing data cleansing, data audit and/or data validation. It conducts root-cause analysis on data-related system problems and recommends or executes corrective action. It conducts testing and system validation to troubleshoot issues related to data management and the system. It identifies and implements process improvements in relation to data processes and reviews data management metrics to strengthen data integrity, quality and availability across the enterprise. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Understand end-to-end data processes and flows and use that knowledge to design and implement data management solutions. Provide business process, system support and data quality governance through data coordination and integration to ensure efficient processes and consistent data flows to business and stakeholders. Ensure data integrity and compliance by performing data cleansing, data audit and/or data validation. Perform root-cause analysis on data-related system problems and recommend or execute corrective action. Conduct testing and system validation to troubleshoot issues related to data management and system. Identify and implement process improvements in relation to data processes. Identify, review and evaluate data management metrics. Recommend ways to strengthen data integrity, quality and availability across the enterprise. Other duties as assigned or requested. Work with customers to derive requirements. EDUCATION Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Computer Science or closely related field Substitutions None EXPERIENCE Required 5 years of relevant, progressive experience in the area of specialization 3 years of experience with Relational Database Management Systems such as Oracle, SQL 3 years writing advanced SQL queries 3 years producing data mapping documentation Preferred 5 or more years of experience with Relational Database Management Systems such as Oracle, SQL 5 or more years writing advanced SQL queries 5 or more years producing data mapping documentation Data Integration experience, particularly with Informatica PowerCenter. Strong data background (SQL, data integration, analytics) Hands-on experience with Dataiku and the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) Interest in developing AI-based solutions to reduce and eliminate manual processes Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong ETL knowledge in a data warehouse ecosystem. Strong communication skills. Advanced skills in writing complex SQL queries. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY Does this role supervise/manage other employees? No WORK ENVIRONMENT Is Travel Required? Pay Range Minimum: $72,700.00 Pay Range Maximum: $116,600.00 Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations.
