Performs mouse colony management
Performs mouse genotyping on various transgenic strains
Harvests mouse brain tissue and perform histological processing and analysis
Record and analyze data from behavioral experiments with mice, such as analyzing sleep/wake states based onEEGdata
Assists with running behavioral experiments with mice, such as the Morris Water maze or Object Recognition test
Maintains lab routines and ordering supplies
Prepares data and graphs for presentation
Assists in the development of research proposals, plans and protocols
Conducts routine or fundamental experiments, investigations and/or studies related to programs and projects in pursuit of new knowledge, techniques and concepts
May instruct students and/or supervise others’ research in area of expertise
Qualifications Basic familiarity in laboratory functions. Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Bachelors degree in biomedical sciences or a related field. Why Work at Auburn?
