We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR professional to join our Human Resources team in Duncan, South Carolina. This standalone role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting employees, ensuring compliance, and contributing to a positive workplace culture. This person will play a key role in supporting daily HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and administrative functions.
Responsibilities include:
- Support the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer preparation
- Run biweekly payrolls
- Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation programs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrolments, changes, and employee inquiries
- Provide support on all employee relations matters
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Generate HR reports and assist with audits as needed
- Participate in employee engagement initiatives and HR projects
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in an HR or administrative role
- Significant experience within payroll coordination.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and best practices
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems
Preferred qualifications include:
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus
- Experience working in a fast-paced or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with benefits platforms is a plus.
