Yancey Bros. Co. currently is recruiting an On Highway Product Support Sales Manager for the Power Systems Division. This position will lead a team of Product Support Sales Representatives (PSSRs) that focus on sales to truck and bus customers, and is responsible for the development and training of the sales team. Responsibilities also include development and administration of product support marketing programs.
Primary responsibilities include achieving parts and service sales and profitability targets, managing the daily performance of the Parts and Service sales force, leading Yancey's efforts in growing our retail aftermarket parts and service business, developing short and long range forecasts, objectives, and action plans, developing and directing Parts and Service marketing and merchandising programs, management product and sales training for Parts and Service Salespeople, and ensuring good customer relations and resolving customer issues as necessary.
Additional responsibilities include participating in required safety program and working in a safe manner, and additional duties as assigned by manager.
To be successful in this position you should have prior experience as a Product Support Sales Representative. Truck or bus industry experience, along with excellent analytical, organization and communication skills, are vital to this position.
Education/Experience: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent experience. Bachelor's degree or comparable professional experience. 7+ years of truck and bus industry experience. Prior experience as a Parts Sales or Product Support Sales Representative preferred.
Required qualifications/skills include the ability to take charge of position immediately, and excellent analytical, organization, and communication skills.
