Program Manager - IT Mobile Application

Location: Dallas, TX (hybrid 3 days work from office) In person client interview is required

Responsibilities:

• Program Leadership: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Agile Methodology Expertise: Drive Agile best practices across teams, ensuring efficient sprint planning, backlog grooming, and program increment (PI) planning.
• Mobile Application Expertise: Collaborate with iOS and Android development teams to manage app release cycles, feature roadmaps, and ongoing enhancements.
• Stakeholder Management: Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product, IT, UX/UI Design, Marketing, and Operations, to ensure program goals are met.
• Aviation Alignment: Integrate aviation-specific needs into mobile app features, leveraging knowledge of industry standards, operations, and customer behaviors.
• Customer Focus: Champion user-centric design and functionality by incorporating customer feedback and industry trends into program deliverables.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks, dependencies, and obstacles, proactively creating mitigation plans to keep programs on track.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize analytics and performance metrics to measure program success and drive continuous improvement.
• Communication: Provide clear and concise updates to senior leadership, ensuring transparency on program status, challenges, and achievements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in business administration, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in program/project management. Proven success in mobile application development or managing large, complex programs.
• Extensive experience managing programs in Agile environments, including frameworks such as Scrum, or Kanban.
• Aviation industry experience or knowledge of airline operations is highly preferred.
• Technical Acumen: Familiarity with mobile app development lifecycles, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as Rally/ADO, or similar platforms.
• Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence without authority, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with a track record of resolving complex program challenges.
