Client Industry: Pharmaceutical Job Mode: Hybrid Duration: 12 Months Contract (Possibilities of Extension) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled 3D Data Scientist to join a team focused on developing and validating advanced 3D facial capture and imaging technologies. This role involves designing machine learning models and building robust data pipelines to generate clinically meaningful digital endpoints. The candidate will work with 3D meshes, point clouds, and photogrammetry data to enhance facial analytics and aesthetics outcomes. Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams and a focus on reproducible and scalable workflows are critical. The ideal candidate will have a mix of scientific rigor, innovation, and hands-on experience in 3D computer vision and applied machine learning. Key Responsibilities: Lead validation activities for a 3D facial capture system ensuring accuracy and reproducibility. Design and execute 3D data pipelines using photogrammetry-generated meshes and point clouds. Develop quantitative test protocols and statistical frameworks to evaluate system performance. Create and implement machine learning models for 3D data analysis including mesh and point cloud processing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, clinical, and product stakeholders. Document validation findings and communicate results to technical and non-technical audiences. Research and implement emerging methods in 3D computer vision and digital biomarker development. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Vision, or a related quantitative field 3+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or 3D data science Strong proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow Hands-on experience with 3D data formats including meshes, point clouds, or photogrammetry outputs Experience designing and executing validation or benchmarking studies with statistical rigor.
