Document all injury evaluations, treatments, and rehabilitation programs using HealthyRoster software Design and supervise all treatment, rehabilitation, and injury prevention programs Provide and/or schedule sports medicine coverage for all RBC home events Work in conjunction with team physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers regarding student-athlete care and rehabilitation protocols Provide pre-game care for visiting teams Conduct concussion baseline testing and follow established concussion policies and procedures Facilitate educational training programs in First Aid, emergency action protocols, and concussion education for coaches, staff, and athletic personnel Provide scheduled and walk-in care hours for student-athletes Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Certification as an Athletic Trainer by the NATA Board of Certification Licensed or eligible for licensing in the state of Virginia CPR/AED and First Aid Certification required Valid Driver's License Ability to work evening and/or weekend hours Ability to travel when needed, but extremely limited Candidate must possess strong organizational skills, effective communication and problems solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
