Overview We are seeking a
Principal Engineer - AI Architect
to join our client's team. This
hybrid role
requires working from the office approximately
two days per week . As a senior technical leader, you will design and oversee end-to-end AI systems that align with business objectives, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance. If you are passionate about AI and thrive in a collaborative, innovative environment, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Business Alignment
Define AI roadmaps aligned with organizational goals.
Identify high-impact AI use cases and assess ROI.
Engage stakeholders early to ensure feasibility and governance.
Design AI system architecture, including data pipelines, model lifecycle, and orchestration.
Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications and internal systems.
Ensure scalability, fault tolerance, and cost efficiency in AI systems.
Select and implement appropriate ML/DL models and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Define strategies for versioning, fine-tuning, and deployment.
Implement CI/CD pipelines for ML models and establish monitoring systems.
Security, Compliance & Governance
Enforce data privacy, ethical AI practices, and audit trails.
Implement guardrails for large language models (LLMs) and ensure prompt safety.
Collaborate with security teams to mitigate risks.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Mentor engineers and data scientists.
Translate business requirements into actionable technical tasks.
Foster collaboration across product, data, and operations teams.
Qualifications Education & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative discipline.
Typically, 10+ years of relevant experience.
Technical Expertise
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and Node.js.
Strong knowledge of AI/ML algorithms, LLMs, RAG, and agent-based systems.
Experience with NLP frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face.
Familiarity with MLOps, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Expertise in system design for distributed AI applications and data architecture (ETL, feature stores, vector databases).
Security and compliance knowledge for AI systems.
Additional Skills
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Knowledge of networking concepts is a plus.

Develop and maintain scalable AI architectures and data pipelines.
Oversee the deployment and monitoring of machine learning models.
Ensure compliance with data privacy and ethical AI standards.
