Responsibilities
Design, develop, and test AI-driven software applications to meet business goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with project objectives.
Create scalable, efficient, and reusable code that meets industry standards.
Conduct rigorous testing to identify and resolve software bugs or inefficiencies.
Ensure technical documentation is created and maintained to assist team members and stakeholders.
Implement and test various machine learning models to optimize performance.
Stay up-to-date on industry developments, AI technologies, and best practices.
Participate in code reviews to ensure standards are maintained and foster a culture of knowledge-sharing among peers.
Provide timely support and troubleshooting to resolve application issues as they arise.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Prior experience with software development and testing.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
Hands-on experience with AI/machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with software testing techniques, debugging tools, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Preferred:
A Master's degree in a related field.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience in developing AI solutions for a particular industry (e.g., healthcare, finance, retail).
Knowledge of data preprocessing and working with large datasets.
Day-to-day
Kick off the day with a team stand-up meeting to discuss ongoing projects and roadblocks.
Collaborate with teammates to design an AI model, write software code, or debug a critical issue.
Test and evaluate models to ensure solutions align with performance metrics and address real-world problems.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback for peers and receiving feedback on your work.
Document new processes, algorithms, or software configurations to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.
Attend professional development/training sessions to sharpen your AI and software engineering skills.
Wrap up tasks for the day and plan priorities for the following work session.
