Key Responsibilities Oversees patient care delivery using the nursing process and ensures coordination of care based on patient needs and staff competency
Ensures appropriate staffing levels and collaborates on patient flow and bed management
Serves as a leader, mentor, and role model; provides feedback, coaching, and accountability
Promotes a positive work environment and staff engagement through shared governance and recognition
Communicates effectively with leadership, staff, and providers; escalates issues as needed
Supports regulatory compliance, policy adherence, and accreditation standards
Participates in performance improvement, quality initiatives, and root cause analyses
Addresses patient concerns and supports service recovery to improve satisfaction
Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Licensure: Current RN license
Experience: 3–5 years of hospital nursing experience
Certifications: AHA Healthcare Provider (required or within probation)
TNCC, ACLS, and ENPC or PALS (as applicable)
Skills Strong clinical and leadership skills
Effective communication and problem-solving
Ability to support staff development and ensure quality patient care
