Prepare patients for their visit by obtaining vitals, patient history, medication reconciliation and reviewing allergies Assist with procedures and point-of-care testing Ordering necessary tests required for the visit to ensure satisfaction of the QM Tab measures. Document encounters in the Electronic Medical Record (Athena)
Required Qualifications
Medical Assisting program certificate, EMT license, or CNA license Current CPR certification EMR experience (Athena preferred) Experience working as a Medical Assistant, EMT, or CNA
Additional Preferred Qualifications
CMA or RMA certification strongly preferred Proof of completion of an ABHES or CAAHEP accredited Medical Assisting program preferred Experience administering vaccines
