Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a passionate and experienced professional to assist customers in migrating workloads to the cloud. The ideal candidate will address customer threat detection and incident response requirements, and help them secure their generative AI applications.
Do you have a unique combination of deep technical knowledge, business acumen, and strong interpersonal skills? Are you skilled at helping customers build cloud‑native threat detection and incident response capabilities using highly scalable computing architectures? Have you designed and implemented security for generative AI technologies? Do you like helping organizational leaders think through how to secure workloads in the Cloud?
Key Job Responsibilities
Contribute to teams that include Amazonians, partners, and customers to design and build threat detection and incident response capabilities.
Provide security expertise and support for customers implementing generative AI technologies, ensuring secure and compliant deployments.
Design and build solutions to automate security, risk, and compliance on AWS.
Develop high‑quality technical artifacts such as automation tools, reference architectures, and white papers to help customers, partners, solution architects, and consultants build secure solutions.
Help AWS customers understand cloud computing security, risk, and compliance best practices.
Collaborate with other AWS teams to influence and drive adoption of security, risk, and compliance products.
Mentor AWS sales and solutions architecture teams regarding security to build skills in the field.
Represent AWS at trade events by delivering security presentations and workshops.
Travel up to 20% as required.
Basic Qualifications
8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructure.
10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands‑on technical expertise designing and implementing security for AI and agentic workloads.

USA, CA, San Francisco – $176,600.00 – $239,000.00 USD annually.
USA, CO, Denver – $153,600.00 – $207,800.00 USD annually.
USA, GA, Atlanta – $153,600.00 – $207,800.00 USD annually.
USA, NY, New York – $169,000.00 – $228,600.00 USD annually.
USA, TX, Austin – $153,600.00 – $207,800.00 USD annually.
USA, VA, Arlington – $153,600.00 – $207,800.00 USD annually.
USA, VA, Herndon – $153,600.00 – $207,800.00 USD annually.
USA, WA, Seattle – $153,600.00 – $207,800.00 USD annually.
