Our client is seeking a Sales Manager who will manage the sales process and train/coach center directors on sales techniques that will result in driving enrollment growth across five preschool locations, with a target of achieving and sustaining high (98‑100%) occupancy. This is a highly consultative, relationship‑driven sales role focused on guiding families through one of the most emotionally significant decisions they make—selecting early childhood education. This position operates with the strategic influence of a senior sales leader, shaping enrollment strategy, building scalable sales processes, and establishing the organization as a trusted, community‑centered partner for families. The role offers the opportunity to grow alongside an expanding organization.
What Does Success Look Like in the Position
Own and drive enrollment performance across five school locations.
Achieve and sustain near 100% occupancy targets (many centers are near 100% occupancy currently.)
Manage the sales process funnel from leads through enrollment (Own the results).
Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement structured sales processes and outreach cadences.
Conduct ongoing market analysis to identify demand trends and growth opportunities.
Establish consistent reporting and performance tracking.
Relationship Management
Training the center directors, help build their comfort and confidence level for sales discussions and support them in implementing the sales process you have designed and refined. AKA SALES COACH
Build trust through emotionally intelligent and consultative interactions.
Maintain long‑term community relationships and referral networks.
Territory & Community Engagement
Build a strong local presence through partnerships, events, and outreach.
Align enrollment strategy with community demographics and needs.
Leadership & Strategic Influence
Operate with a “seat at the table” in business and growth discussions.
Partner with leadership on expansion strategy and enrollment forecasting.
Contribute to brand positioning and market differentiation.
Help build and refine scalable enrollment infrastructure.
Candidate Profile Core Competencies
Be both positive and passionate about training center directors to connect with families about making personal and important decisions. AKA Sales Coach
Highly autonomous; thrives without close oversight.
Strong sales process and cadence management.
Proactive “hunter” mentality with consistent follow‑through.
Ability to authentically engage with center directors, staff, and parents and customers and caregivers.
Experience
5+ years in sales with at least 2 years as a sales manager (B2C high value experience a plus)
Experience in emotionally driven or high‑consideration decision environments (preferred but not required: B2C, childcare, education, healthcare, or similar).
Proven success in business development and sales funnel stages.
Track record of owning and growing a defined territory.
