Mobile Engineer Responsibilities
Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment in assigned facilities to achieve efficient operating results and extend equipment life.
Perform preventive maintenance, repair response work orders, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and installed systems and equipment.
Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC/R systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution, plumbing, building interior/exterior repairs, grounds, and production equipment.
Study equipment and associated methods to ensure proper use in daily activities.
Conduct facility inspections and due diligence, reporting conditions that impact client occupancy and operations.
Submit P‑card receipts daily.
Update work order status in real time using CMMS systems such as Corrigo.
Keep a valid state driver’s license and be available for call‑in work and additional duties as required.
Required Qualifications
Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment).
Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, with a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment repair and maintenance.
Knowledge of overall system design and applications.
Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial refrigeration and/or supermarket refrigeration.
High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience utilizing CMMS (Work Order) systems.
Working knowledge of computer applications such as Word and Excel.
Two years of trade school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration, and HVAC.
Location Mobile position covering Columbia/Florence, SC and surrounding area. On‑site — Columbia, SC, Florence, SC.
Work Shift Standard business hours with on‑call availability.
