We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with deep experience in building scalable backend systems and a strong modern engineering mindset. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, takes ownership end-to-end, and actively leverages AI tools to accelerate engineering productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend services using Node.js
Build and optimize data models and queries using PostgreSQL
Write efficient, well-structured SQL and ensure high-performance database operations
Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality features
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
Work with cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS or Google Cloud Platform) to ensure reliability, scalability, and security
Set up and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for production services
Leverage AI tools and workflows to improve development speed, code quality, and system design
Take ownership of services from design through production and ongoing support
Required Qualifications
8+ years of backend software engineering experience
Strong hands-on experience with Node.js
Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL and advanced SQL
Proven experience working with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP preferred)
Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and monitoring tools
Demonstrated ability to integrate and use AI tools in daily engineering workflows
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
