You are acting as a Software Verification Engineer Mission Support Systems (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Defence and Space in Manching.

• Executing software verification activities integrated into the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, software architecture and design, implementation, and software verification and qualification within an agile framework
• Define, author and execute test procedures for the verification of software requirements and to ensure software quality by regression and performance testing
• Maintain and expand the existing test suite to ensure automated and robust requirements, regression and performance testing
• Ensure compliance with DO-278 standards Understanding of tools for project control (Jira, Confluence), requirements management (Jama) and version control (Git) is recommended
• Embrace agile methodologies by following processes & identifying improvement opportunities

• Completed studies in Computer Science or comparable
• Solid understanding of software/system testing activities and requirements traceability
• Good background in SW development with focus on Testing
• Experience with QF-Test
• Knowledge of development processes (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
• Strong foundation in object-oriented programming languages (Java ecosystem)
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Good German and fluent English skills, both written and spoken
