Join Our Team as an Interventional Radiologist in Beautiful Phoenix!

Phoenix VA Interventional Radiology seeks a talented Interventional Radiologist to join our growing three physician IR team. We are part of a well established practice in Phoenix, Arizona, supporting the Phoenix VA Medical Center with a full range of interventional oncology, hepatobiliary, and advanced body procedures. We offer a diverse case mix, including endovascular treatment of PAD (excluding EVAR, TEVAR, and neuro intervention), along with the full spectrum of other image guided interventions. The group is committed to training and supporting motivated IR physicians who wish to further develop specific procedural skills.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary : Up to $400,000 annually
  • Annual Performance Bonus & Regular Salary Increases
  • Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) : Up to $200,000 in student loan repayment
  • Sign-on Bonus : Up to 25% of your annual salary
  • Paid-Time Off : 50 - 55 days of annual PTO (26 days of annual leave, 13 sick days, 11 paid federal holidays, and up to 5 days for CME)
  • Retirement : Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401k with up to 5% contribution by VA
  • Insurance : Federal health, vision, dental, term life, and long-term care insurance (carry into retirement)
  • CME : Possible $1,000/year reimbursement
  • Malpractice : Free liability protection with tail coverage provided
  • Flexible Contract : No Physician Employment Contract and minimal restrictions on moonlighting

Employment Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree in medicine or osteopathic medicine
  • Unrestricted License : One full and unrestricted license from any U.S. state or territory
  • U.S. Citizenship : Non-citizens may be considered when qualified citizens are not available, per VA policy
