Experienced Service Advisor

Johnson City Acura/Mazda is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to provide exceptional customer service and support to our valued clients. As a key member of our dealership team, the Service Advisor will be responsible for assisting customers with their automotive service needs, maintaining customer satisfaction, and promoting service sales.

This is a full-time, individual contributor role in Johnson City, Tennessee with a salary range of $75,000 to $85,000 per year, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and schedule service appointments in a friendly and professional manner
• Listen to and understand customer's automotive concerns and accurately document information
• Clearly explain service recommendations and any necessary repairs to customers
• Accurately estimate repair costs for customers and obtain necessary approvals
• Communicate with technicians and ensure timely completion of service work
• Keep customers informed of any delays or changes to service timelines
• Conduct follow-up calls and emails to ensure customer satisfaction
• Promote additional service sales and upsell maintenance packages to customers
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints with tact and professionalism
• Maintain a clean and organized service area
• Adhere to all dealership policies and procedures
• Meet and exceed customer satisfaction and sales goals

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, some post-secondary education preferred
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership
• Proficient computer and technology skills
• Strong customer service, communication, and sales skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of automotive maintenance and repairs, with ASE certification preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Must be available to work weekends and some evenings as needed
