A leading international main contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Dublin-based project team. The business operates across Ireland, the UK, and Northern Europe, delivering complex projects in critical environments including data centres, life sciences, aviation, high-value manufacturing, and logistics. The successful candidate will manage all commercial and contractual aspects of projects, ensuring cost control, value maximisation, and effective contract administration. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day commercial and contract administration activities Handle change management and maintain variation registers Procure and negotiate subcontract packages to achieve best value Support project budgets, cost plans, and commercial reporting Assess and certify subcontractor payments and final accounts Prepare monthly Cost Value Reports (CVRs) and cost forecasting Maximise cash flow through accurate valuations and submissions Prepare and agree final accounts, including contractual claims Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and project teams Ensure compliance with contract forms such as NEC, JCT/RIAI, and FIDIC Requirements Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or equivalent (RICS/SCSI recognised) 35 years QS experience in the construction industry Strong knowledge of NEC, JCT/RIAI, and FIDIC contracts Experience in CVRs, subcontract management, and cost control Strong commercial awareness and analytical ability Excellent negotiation and communication skills High attention to detail and strong organisational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment Package & Benefits €70k - €80k Pension and life assurance Private healthcare Car allowance or company vehicle Structured career progression and CPD support Exposure to major international projects If you are a Quantity Surveyor, seeking a career change, reach out to Eve on or send a CV to for further information.
