Our Continuing Education program is seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Certified Nurse Assistant Instructor to join our team. Job Overview: As a Continuing Education Instructor for CNA courses, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction during evening classes, supervising clinical experiences, and providing training on select Saturdays. This role is crucial in preparing future CNAs with the skills and knowledge required for success in the healthcare field. Key Responsibilities:
Instruction: Teach evening CNA classes, ensuring that all course material is covered thoroughly and effectively. Classes may occur 12-20 hours per month. Clinical Supervision: Oversee and guide students during clinical experiences, providing hands-on instruction and support to ensure practical skills are developed and applied correctly. Saturday Sessions: Facilitate additional training sessions on select Saturdays, approximately 8 hours per month, to supplement and reinforce classroom learning. Student Support: Offer guidance and mentorship to students, addressing questions and concerns while fostering a positive learning environment. Curriculum Adherence: Follow the established curriculum and maintain up-to-date knowledge of CNA practices and standards to ensure compliance with educational requirements. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed registered nurse or a licensed practical nurse. One year of Long-Term Care experience.
Minimum of three years of nursing experience. Ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups. Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work independently and make appropriate decisions. Teaching experience.
