Deliver direct patient care and support through delegation, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Provide reassurance, education, and clear guidance to patients. Coordinate efficient healthcare delivery during patient visits, ensuring medical records are accurate, complete, and up to date. Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and relevant medical history, and communicate any abnormal findings to the physician. Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams. Manage sample medications and logs, arrange necessary testing or admissions, and handle referrals and consents for invasive procedures or immunizations. Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as prescribed. Provide patient education materials and ensure patients understand treatment plans and medication instructions. Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education resources, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment. Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.
Education: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing program is required. Experience & Requirements: Previous clinical experience preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential. Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork is highly valued. Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
