What You'll Do
Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures Safely handle and restrain patients during appointments and treatments Collect laboratory samples and assist with diagnostic procedures Support patient care, treatments, and nursing duties Administer medications and treatments as directed Assist with radiographs and in-house laboratory testing Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation Educate clients and provide compassionate communication regarding patient care Support daily hospital operations and maintain a clean, organized work environment
What Our Veterinary Team Members Bring
Previous veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience preferred Strong patient care and animal handling skills Excellent communication and client service abilities Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Commitment to providing exceptional patient care Desire to continue learning and growing within veterinary medicine Compassion for patients, clients, and coworkers
