Perform delegated patient care procedures keeping in mind the age specific needs of the patient. Assist in the preparation of units, patient rooms and beds. Greet all outpatients and prepares them to be seen by RN and Physician by removing wound dressings, taking VS, and photography. Transfer patient and assist physicians and Wound Care RN in outpatient Wound and Vascular Center. Assist RN in Hydrotherapy by preparing equipment and patient; clean whirlpool tanks.
Qualifications:
Required High School Diploma/GED 3 years Patient Care Assistant preferred 1 year Wound Care preferred Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association Indiana or Illinois
