Owning end-to-end data modeling for specific business domains, the full-time Senior Analytics Engineer will build scalable data models and pipelines, optimize ETL/ELT processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance analytics and decision-making in a remote-first environment. Key responsibilities
Design and implement modular data models and reusable frameworks that serve as the single source of truth for downstream teams Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like dbt and Airflow, ensuring data quality and performance across data warehouse architectures Develop dashboards and visualization layers to translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders
Required qualifications
5+ years of experience in analytics engineering or data engineering, with expertise in modular data model design and production ETL/ELT pipelines Advanced proficiency in SQL and intermediate-to-advanced Python for automation and framework development Production experience with modern data warehouse architectures, including performance tuning and version-controlled development workflows Proven ability to deliver impactful data solutions and communicate technical trade-offs to stakeholders Experience with prompt engineering for LLMs and responsible use of generative AI in data processes
