Seeking a Senior Staff Data Engineer to work remotely in a full-time capacity, responsible for designing and building complex data systems, driving architectural decisions, and mentoring engineers within IAA's data engineering function. Key responsibilities
Design and build major data systems, pipelines, and frameworks, contributing to platform-wide architecture Deliver complex data engineering work on Azure data and analytics stack, including ingestion, transformation, and storage Mentor data engineers and analytics engineers, elevating the team's technical capabilities through design reviews and guidance
Required qualifications
Extensive hands-on experience as a senior or staff-level data engineer with a proven track record in production data systems Deep expertise in Azure BI/data technology stack, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Power BI Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL, with strong software engineering fundamentals Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems through robust technical design and execution Strong mentoring and influence skills to elevate engineering practices within the team
