Set up prescribed medications in accordance with patients' nursing care plans Administer medications to patients orally, intra-muscularly or subcutaneously Monitor effects of medication, records all medications given to patients' Assists in rehabilitation programming, such as: Development of social skills Development of daily living skills Reality orientation Recreational skills, etc. Record treatment given to patients on their medical record Administer nursing procedures to patients in accordance with patients nursing care plans, such procedures include sterile dressing, soaks, compresses, enemas, suppositories, tube feeding, oxygen therapy, range of motion therapy, catheterization, diabetic care, pre- and post-operative care etc. Qualifications: American Heart Association - BLS Certificate Active LPN License in the state of Virginia Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Basic Life: $25,000 (100% employer paid) Basic Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) : $25,000 (100% employer paid) Voluntary Life/AD&D: Additional coverage options available for employees, spouses and children (100% employee paid) Company 401(k) plans with eligibility from the 1 st day of the month following hire.
