The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and a genuine passion for enhancing the well-being of others. They will excel in creating customized treatment plans tailored to meet each clients unique needs and preferences. These duties are to be performed confidentially, following the mission, values, and behaviors of Insight Hospital and Medical Center. Employees are further expected to provide a high quality of care, service, and kindness toward all patients, staff, physicians, volunteers, and guests./ppFTE: Full time, part time and PRN available. Monday-Friday 8:00 am.-5:00 p.m./ph3Duties and Responsibilities/h3ulliPerform high-quality massage therapy sessions using a range of modalities, including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, prenatal massage and postnatal massage./liliConduct thorough client consultations to assess health history, lifestyle factors, and individual goals to customize treatments effectively./liliMaintain a clean, serene, and welcoming environment in massage therapy rooms, ensuring that equipment and supplies are properly sanitized and organized./liliEducate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and recommend personalized self-care practices to support their wellness journey./liliStay informed about the latest developments in the field of massage therapy, participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities, and adhere to all relevant regulations and licensing requirements./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliValid state massage therapy license and certification from an accredited institution./liliMinimum of 2 years of experience working as a massage therapist in a similar setting./liliProficiency in a diverse range of massage modalities, including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, myofascial release, and aromatherapy, with the ability to tailor treatments to address clients specific needs and preferences./liliStrong anatomical knowledge and understanding of human physiology, enabling the therapist to assess clients conditions accurately and provide appropriate therapeutic interventions./liliExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and effectively communicate treatment options, benefits, and self-care recommendations./liliDemonstrated commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and hygiene in all aspects of massage therapy practice./liliCurrent certification in CPR and basic first aid (preferred), along with a willingness to participate in ongoing training and continuing education to stay abreast of industry advancements and best practices./liliPositive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for promoting health and wellness through massage therapy./li/ulh3Benefits/h3ulliPaid sick time - effective 90 days after employment/liliPaid vacation time - effective 90 days after employment/liliHealth, vision dental benefits - eligible at 30 days, following the 1st of the following month/liliShort and long-term disability and basic life insurance - after 30 days of employment/li/ulpApplication Process: Interested candidates are invited to submit a resume and cover letter highlighting their qualifications and relevant experiences.
