Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk individuals. Provide reassurance, clear education, and guidance to patients. Facilitate smooth healthcare service delivery during patient visits by accurately completing and updating medical records. Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and relevant health history, and communicate any abnormal findings to the physician. Support physicians with testing, treatment procedures, minor surgeries, and physical exams. Assist with splints, dressings, medication samples, and maintain related logs. Coordinate patient testing, referrals, and follow-up communications. Maintain clinical areas by ensuring supplies, equipment, and patient education materials are well-stocked and organized. Uphold cleanliness and sterilization protocols to provide a safe environment. Perform laboratory tests and treatments as prescribed, assisting in maintaining laboratory documentation. Carry out additional duties as assigned, adapting to the dynamic needs of the healthcare environment. Education and Experience Required:
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program.
