Full Time / $20k Sign-On Bonus / Relocation AssistanceAthletic Trainer Position Overview: As an essential part of the sports medicine team, the Athletic Trainer (AT) will provide on-site coverage at schools and community events. Under the direction of a physician, the AT will perform a range of services, including injury prevention, clinical evaluation, diagnosis, emergency care, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning. Athletic Trainer Educational Requirements:
Degree: Bachelor's degree Field of Study: Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or a related field Athletic Trainer Licensure & Certifications:
Valid Athletic Training license in the State of Ohio Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) Board of Certification Athletic Trainer Key Responsibilities:
On-Site Coverage: Provide athletic training support at assigned schools and community events. Patient Care: Deliver comprehensive services such as injury prevention, diagnosis, immediate care, rehabilitation, and reconditioning. Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork and reports in accordance with Premier Health standards. Professional Growth: Continuously develop skills and knowledge through ongoing education and staying informed on industry trends. Public Education: Participate in public speaking opportunities to educate and raise awareness about sports medicine. Cost Management: Assist with cost-effective practices within the sports medicine department. Customer Service: Ensure excellent service for athletes, coaches, and other stakeholders. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the sports medicine team to enhance patient care.
