MLR Healthcare is hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist (MLT/MT) to join our laboratory team. In this role, you will perform diagnostic testing under the supervision of the Clinical Director, supporting patient care through accurate, timely results. You'll contribute to a collaborative lab environment while maintaining quality control standards, managing workflows, and ensuring equipment performance. Opportunities to mentor staff and students may be available with the Laboratory Director's approval. Key Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of diagnostic testing following physician orders and lab protocols Collect and process specimens via venipuncture across all age groups, ensuring sample integrity Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure accuracy of results Follow quality control procedures, document corrective actions, and manage patient data with confidentiality Collaborate with lab staff and other departments to support efficient operations Participate in proficiency testing, continuing education, and departmental meetings Assist in training new employees or students when appropriate Qualifications
Certified MLT or MT (ASCP, AMT or equivalent) Proficiency in laboratory instrumentation and result interpretation Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support teamwork and patient interaction Comfortable working with patients of all ages Knowledge of laboratory regulations, standards, and safety protocols
