6a-2p/2p-10p/10p-6a Key Responsibilities As a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA), you will:
Verify the identity of patients receiving medication and accurately record the drug name, dosage, and administration time. Administer prescribed medications, observe ingestion or application, and ensure proper documentation. Monitor patient responses to medications, take vital signs, and report unexpected reactions to designated personnel. Document reasons for any missed medication doses. Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and assisting during examinations or treatments. Manage medication supplies by receiving, mixing, and assembling drugs for patient administration. Record and restock medication inventories as needed. Work the floor as needed Qualifications
