Main TasksImplement, maintain, and continuously improve the site HSE Management System and Written Safety Program. Deliver new hire safety orientation and annual refresher training; support safety onboarding with HR. Conduct site safety inspections, emergency evacuation drills, and accident/incident investigations. Ensure timely completion of incident reports, workers' compensation submissions, and regulatory documentation (OSHA 300 log, reports, and safety alerts). Coordinate monthly Safety Committee meetings and track action items to closure. Maintain safety records, documentation, and performance boards (e.g., SQDC). Monitor employee compliance with PPE and safe work practices. Support supervisors in developing safety procedures, job hazard analyses, and risk assessments. Act as liaison with external safety agencies and escalate major HSE concerns as needed. Support plant HSE targets, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Perform other assigned duties. Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required. 1-2 years of HSE experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Strong knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety practices. Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office; bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Ability to work independently, multitask, and interact effectively at all levels. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Authorized to work in the United States.
