Surgical Technologist Location: Olla, LA 71465 Schedule: Full-Time, Flexible Shifts Available Be the Backbone of the Operating Room We are looking for a dedicated Surgical Technologist to support our surgical teams in delivering safe and efficient patient care. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for preparing the operating room, managing sterile instruments, and assisting surgical teams during procedures. If you're detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and passionate about patient outcomes, this is the role for you. Key Responsibilities
Prepare surgical suites with necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies Maintain a sterile field and follow proper aseptic techniques throughout procedures Assist surgeons by passing instruments and anticipating needs during surgery Ensure surgical counts are accurate before, during, and after procedures Support patient positioning, prepping, and transport when needed Restock supplies and clean rooms post-operation Follow all hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards Communicate effectively within the surgical team to promote optimal care Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred Current BLS certification Strong understanding of sterile field maintenance and surgical tools Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to remain composed and focused in a high-pressure setting
