Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with protocols and safety regulations Operate SPECT and/or PET imaging systems to acquire high-quality diagnostic images Collaborate with physicians to interpret scan results and support treatment decisions Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and radiation compliance Maintain imaging equipment and adhere to all QA, safety, and accreditation standards Document procedures accurately within the hospital's imaging and EMR systems Serve as the sole Nuclear Med Tech on site - bringing confidence, independence, and leadership Support cross-functional collaboration within the radiology and broader care team Education Requirements
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related imaging science Certifications
Current certification by the NMTCB or ARRT (N) Wisconsin state license (or eligibility to obtain) BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) Skills & Qualities We Value
Independent and proactive problem solver comfortable being the go-to Nuclear Med Tech Excellent attention to detail and a deep understanding of radiation safety principles Compassionate communicator who can put patients at ease during complex scans Experience with cardiac, thyroid, bone, and renal nuclear studies preferred Comfortable collaborating across departments in a rural, tight-knit hospital setting Flexible with schedule; willingness to support occasional weekends or on-call needs What We Offer
